WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP UIM OFFSHORE
Tomaso POLLI, a pilot with the Fédération Monégasque Motonautique (FMM) and a member of the Yacht Club de Monaco, has won the title of UIM Offshore 3D World Champion in 2024, once again confirming his exceptional talent in international motorboating competitions. Already UIM XCAT World Champion in ‘Pole Position’ in 2021 and World Vice-Champion in 2022, the Monegasque driver continues to fly the flag for Monaco and its federation. His repeated successes reinforce his position as one of the world’s top riders in his discipline.
WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP UIM – E1 SERIES
Lisa Caussin-Battaglia is the official driver of Team Blue Rising in the E1 Series category, a 100% electric boat competition counting towards the UIM Electric World Championship. As the female driver in this category, she embodies both performance and innovation in watersports, marking an important step in the evolution towards more sustainable and environmentally-friendly competitions. Her involvement with Team Blue Rising makes her a key figure in this emerging discipline, which combines speed, technology and ecological responsibility on the world stage.
WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP UIM - FORMULE 2
Inshore speed or endurance motorboating is a discipline with a recognised past. Today, there are several categories, F1 and F2, the latter being the premier formulae in motorboating. The driver Giacomo SACCHI, grandson of the illustrious Tullio Abbate, a great name in the world of water sports, has represented the Principality with dignity in the UIM Inshore F2 World Championship races for several years now.
WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP UIM – AQUABIKE
Lisa CAUSSIN-BATTAGLIA, a high-level Monegasque athlete and rider licensed with the FMM, has been taking part in the UIM Aquabike World Championships since 2016. She regularly stands out among the top 10 female riders in the Ski Ladies GP1 category, confirming her place among the world elite in this sport.
AQUABIKE CLASS PRO ENDURANCE UIM EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP 2019/2020
The Roca Jet Club’s Endurance Runabout team, made up of Jean-Pierre BESSERO and Gérard POUGET (members of Monaco’s Roca Jet Club), was crowned European Endurance Champion in the GP2 UIM category and won the bronze medal in the Master GP1 category. The Endurance Championship is one of the most demanding and selective disciplines in Aquabike competition, with races that test the physical strength and strategy of the teams.
