The Monegasque Motorboating Federation is affiliated to the International Motorboating Union of which H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco is the Honorary President.

The purpose of the Federation Monegasque Motonautics is to :

• promote in the Principality of Monaco, non-profit, all powerboat sports, and in particular develop their activity and education;
• any study, examination, scientific and educational research relating to the field of power boating, navigation both at sea and in inland waters and the search for the best means of promoting the establishment of a training school for this navigation, the coordination and comparison of the work carried out and the results obtained in the Principality through its members;
• promote and supervise all motorboat competitions or activities, in particular high-level international competitions and, to this end, to make the results obtained in the Principality comparable;
• It sets the standards for establishing records and codifies running and other sporting and tourist events aimed at ensuring that all concerned benefit from the results of its studies and research.
